The WPIAL Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) was established to create a unified voice for promoting scholastic baseball in Western Pennsylvania and providing an organized means to voice opinions on matters affecting local high school baseball.
An equally important objective for the WBCA is to help local high school players find opportunities to play college baseball. This is done in several ways:
- Sponsorship of an all-star doubleheader for high school seniors
- Sponsorship of a showcase for high school juniors
- Through this website, provide information on local baseball prospects to college coaches
- Through this website, provide resources for high school players and their parents to help navigate the recruiting process
