Summer Showcases

We get plenty of questions about summer baseball camps and showcases. We have links to many camps and showcases on the website under the "Baseball Camp Directory" tab. Here are some local showcases that I am aware of. We are not in the business of endorsing showcases, though, so other than the WPIAL Baseball Coaches/West Penn Baseball Prospects Showcase, I have no direct knowledge about the quality of the events.

June 12 - WBCA/WPBP Showcase for 2011 grads only. Held at Burkett Field in Robinson Township. Cost is $75 if your coach does not belong to the WBCA and $60 if he does.

June 29/30 All Star Baseball Academy Showcase. All high school players. Held at White Township Athletic Complex in Indiana, PA. Cost is $250.

July 27/28 - DeMarini TPX Top 96. All high school players. Held at Trees Field on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Cost is $395.

Please let me know if you are aware of others.

All Star Baseball Academy is hosting the Western PA College Coaches Camp at the White Twp Athletic Complex in Indiana, PA June 29-30.  This is a 2-day Instructional Camp for area HS players, ages 13-18.  Colleges who will be at the Camp doing drills and skills work with each player-- Penn State, Pitt, U of Cincinnati, UNC Asheville (Division I).  Also, Division II schools include Millersville, CAL of PA, IUP, and Shippensburg!  Great list of area colleges.

So, learn from the best coaches and get "visibility" to both DI and DII programs, all at ONE great Camp.  All Western PA players are invited to attend.  Take your game to the next level with the help of this Camp!!

Go to www.allstarbaseballacademy.com to register or call All Star Baseball at 610-399-8050 for more information.
